Spring Amygdala

Buddhist monks who do compassion meditation have been shown to modulate their Amygdala....Increased activity in the Amygdala following compassion-oriented meditation may contribute to social connectedness.

A little tid-bit for ya.I feel inspiration brewing...

Rorschach ink blot test-used by some psychologists to examine a person's personality characteristics and emotional functioning...especially in cases where patients are reluctant to describe their thinking processes openly.

Sooo, I must do an experiment of sorts. Next round of art will combine images of Rorschach like symmetry with some crop circle designs and we shall see what type of vibe and visual experience happens...
Oh, and we will use bright colors too:)

the paintings are traveling...

After a lovely quarter hanging around on Loma Vista, the paintings have been invited to "look inward and stretch out the kinks" at our local Zanzilla Yoga Studios. Located at 2750 East Main Street, suite F in Ventura (near smart & final, below crystal cleaners). The evening restorative classes really bring home some peace at the end of the day. Come say hi to the paintings, perhaps take one home if you like (for a reasonable fee, of course, they are not hussies you know!).
